We are the Lost Banditos.
We are a young physical theatre company who have trained together for the past three years, developing and experimenting with clown, bouffon, storytelling and improvisation.
Our work concentrates on finding a current story or topic that we can experiment, re-work and play with. We work through the medium of humour and subversion to tell “perhaps” a poignant tale.
Sometimes we wander, sometimes we are lost, sometimes we are in crisis and sometimes we find one genius idea. We are trying to play, to create, to work out what we have to say about the world around us. Sometimes we have lots to say and all of it is nonsense.
We want to work with personal stories, the individual against the machine, against common ignorance or intolerance. We want to share those stories with our audience so they don’t belong just to one person, but to all of us.
